The Island Hiding a Lake Inside a Lake
Mou Waho Island, sitting in the middle of Lake Wanaka, has its own tiny lake called Arethusa Pool near its summit, making it a lake, on an island, in a lake. It's one of the world's rare examples of this nested geography, and you can hike to see it.
